This week on Clash of the Choirs SA, the choirs pay homage to Mzansi’s music legends – the people who laid the foundation for the richness of our country’s music. We are talking: Brenda Fassie, Lucky Dube and Sipho Hotstix Mabuse, just to name a few. In this episode, each choir will put their own spin on iconic local hits, in a battle to stay in the competition.

Will the contemporary executions of these definitive hits live up to the judges and viewers’ expectations? The much-anticipated song list this week will be as follows:

Limpopo’s Team Penny Penny will kick off the performances with PJ PowersJabulani.

Eastern Cape’s Team Bucie performs Chicco Twala’s We Can Dance

Western Cape’s Team iFani has Sipho Hotstix Mabuse’s Burn Out.

Gauteng’s Team Kelly Khumalo will take on Brenda Fassie’s Vulindlela.

Mpumalanga’s Team JR steps on stage for a rendition of Vusi Mahlasela’s When You Come Back.

KwaZulu-Natal’s Team Busiswa delivers a rendition of Lucky Dube’s Slave.

Free State’s Team S’fiso gears up for an Yvonne Chaka Chaka I’m Burning Up performance.
