Boomerang (302) is proud to announce that it has partnered with South Africa’s leading Super Rugby team, the Emirates Lions, to bring the game of rugby even closer to all their excited young rugby fans.
The partnership will see some of Boomerang’s superstars such as Tom and Jerry and Scooby-Doo making the trip to Emirates Park, where they will be supporting the Lions, as well as doing some meet-and-greets (from 13:30 to 16:30) with all the excited Lions fans ahead the games on Saturday 2 July and 8 July 2016.
“Boomerang is a place where children can gain inspiration and most importantly have fun. We know that rugby provides a great deal of excitement and inspiration to all South Africans and we are therefore very excited to partner with the Emirates Lions to support and cheer on one of the best teams in South Africa. It is our goal to assist the team to making their games even more appealing to families in South Africa,” says Pierre Branco, VP and Managing Director of Turner Africa.
As part of the partnership, all excited Boomerang and Lions fans can look forward to cheering on their team together with South Africa’s best television characters and cartoon show as voted by the Generation Next 2016 brand survey, Tom and Jerry, offering an exciting mix of light-hearted family fun.
With lots of excitement around the partnership, Boomerang would like to encourage all families to get their tickets and make their way to Emirates Park to support the Lions for their next two home games. Boomerang’s favourite cat and mouse will be sitting on the edge of their seats to cheer on Johannesburg’s favourite team. Go Lions!!
