Zee TV (DStv Channel 452) showcases a slate of new blockbusters in March.

The month will kick off with a thriller called Trapped on Sunday 4 March at 16:00, starring Rajkumar Rao who portrays Shaurya, a simple young man who finds himself trapped in the empty apartment of an unoccupied 30-storey building. With a rat for a companion and cockroaches as the only source of food, how does he get out of this scenario? Compounding the situation is his claustrophobia and the knowledge that his beloved girlfriend is waiting for him to elope!

Adding to the mixed bag on offer and a respite from the intense drama are some light-hearted movies that will undoubtedly appeal to the Bollywood lover at heart. These “masala movies” include the Ajay Devgan starrer Golmaal- Fun Unlimited on Saturday 3 March at 15:00 and Great Grand Masti with Vivek Oberoi on Sunday 4 March at 22:00.

The premiere of the month is an Amitabh Bachchan crime drama, Sarkar 3. The third instalment of the movie sees the return of an angrier and stronger Sarkar who remains committed to holding on to power. Sarkar goes on to train his grandson, Chiku, in dark politics, preparing him to eventually take over the throne and keep enemies at bay. Outstanding performances by the evergreen Big B and Jackie Shroff drive this fast-paced tale of volatile relationships in the political underworld on Sunday, March 25 at 15:00.

The weekends will delight - Shubh Mangal Savdhaan with Ayushman Khurana on Sunday 18 March at 15:00, Tutak Tutak Tutiya, on Saturday 24 March at 15:00 and Kya Cool Hain Hum 3 with Tushar Kapoor, on Sunday 25 March at 22:00.

Tutak Tutak Tutiya is a comedy that will keep you riveted with Sonu Sood and the charismatic Prabhudeva in action at 15:00 on Saturday 24 March. Krishna is a city-dwelling village man who aspires to marry a supermodel but fails to find one before his family arranges a match for him. He reluctantly takes his village bride to the city, where he hides her from his friends, out of embarrassment. To his shock, her personality and demeanour start to change, and she starts to act and talk like a city girl. There starts a journey filled with horror, confusion and misplaced emotions, as his wife’s body is possessed by a ghost.
