The Ask Dr. Nandi is an Emmy Award-winning, health-related, lifestyle talk show, focusing on one specific topic per episode, with empathy, understanding, commitment and spirituality. From medical subjects to wellness related topics, from physical issues to psychological conditions, the host of the show, Dr Partha Nandi, is there to bring interesting guests and generate highly informative discussions all along the episodes.

Dr Partha Nandi is a practicing physician, Chief Health Editor at WXYZ ABC Detroit, a renowned international speaker and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. “I became a physician because I want to be there when someone’s world stops – I want to help people when they are most vulnerable and help them recover fully,” says Nandi.

Ask Dr. Nandi encourages people to be their own Health Hero and take the preventative steps to live their best life. He continues to travel to international conferences and symposia, meeting with global health leaders on his quest to improve health care quality, access, and advocacy; to empower the world in his mission, “To Be Your Own Health Hero.”

Ask Dr. Nandi covers one subject per episode so the information is more than just a sound bite. The show takes the time to go deeper and talk more in details about health related issues.

As a physician, the host Nandi is a believer that the mind and body are connected and true healing requires treatment of both. Inspired by the very idea, Nandi wants to help the guests of the show understand their health problems fully, in plain language, and help develop solutions for them and their families. The goal of this TV show is to eliminate intimidation and fear from health care and put the power in the hands of the patients.

Nandi is a patient advocate, emphasising empathy in patient care and treatment of the entire patient, both body, and mind. He closes every show with the phrase, “the light in me honors the light in you.” Partnering with a skilled artistic team lead by his wife and executive producer Kali Nandi, Nandi believes this show can help shape the health of America and the world, one family at a time.
