The Emmys this year had us excited to see that so many favourites we enjoy across DStv and Showmax walked away winners! Let’s take a quick look at who walked home with the most awards and if our initial predictions were correct.

One of the most talked about series of the year, Big Little Lies (available to binge on Showmax) walked away with 5 awards out of their 8 nominations including Outstanding limited series and Outstanding lead actress in a limited series for Nicole Kidman. The Night of (available to binge on Showmax) saw Riz Ahmed win for Outstanding lead actor in a limited series.

Veep also had 8 nominations, winning 2 for Outstanding comedy series and Outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
