Pretoria-born ballroom dancer Oti Mabuse (8-time winner of the South African Latin American Championship) has been 1 of the most sought after dance partners on reality series Strictly Come Dancing since 2015 (placing first in S17 & S18), as well as being a Judge on The Greatest Dancer.

About the Show07 August 2021
Strictly Come Dancing judge Oti Mabuse has a new gig on the judging panel of game show The Masked Dancer, along with Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall, and host Joel Dommett. Based only on vague clues and distinctive dance moves, they have to figure out which celebrity is inside the elaborate costume, performing on stage in front of them
Meet the judges
As 1 of the UK’s favourite comedy talkshow hosts, Jonathan Ross has seen the moves of just about every celebrity in the UK and knows a little something spicy about everyone. He loves music, especially punk and rock, but he might find this gig a little more difficult than his judging job on The Masked Singer. Oti has crowned Jonathan “King Of The Dad Dance”.
Stand-up comedian and late-night talk host Mo Gilligan has judged The Masked Singer, now he’s trying his hand at The Masked Dancer. He’s done well on The Big Fat Quiz of The Year before, so maybe he can use that skill to connect the dots on the special clues in The Masked Dancer. Mo attended a performing arts school, where dancing ballet and contemporary was part of his training.
TV presenter Davina McCall has also come from judging The Masked Singer to try her luck at guessing who the Masked Dancers could be. Before finding her feet on TV, Davina performed as a singer and cabaret performer. And guess who was a back-up dancer for Kylie Minogue in her 1991 Word Is Out music video!
