Bebe Cool from Uganda

Africa Day is coming up on 25 May and as DStv, we are dedicating the whole month of May to celebrate the greatness of the continent and its people.

We invite you to celebrate Africa with us as we showcase authentic African shows told by Africans for Africa. Check out our special Africa Month programming.

Being African is the food we eat, the fashion we embody, the language we speak and in the music we make. With TRACE Mziki (Ch 323), we bring you the hottest hits from East Africa and for even more exclusive music from Uganda, tune in to Uganda 10 every Friday at 20:00 CAT.

Uganda 10 is also available on Catch Up on the DStv Explora and also on DStv Now.

Below are the top five artists from Uganda ruling the TRACE Mziki countdown.

Eddy Kenzo is Uganda’s "it" boy and his most recent hit, Jubilation, has the beat and the moves to make it one of East Africa’s biggest songs of 2017.

2. I’m Still Here - Juliana Kanyomozi

Juliana Kanyomozi knows her music too well. Her comeback hit, I’m Still Here, has a beautiful Alaine vibe to it and it will get you singing along in no time.

3. Nananana - Bebe Cool

Bebe Cool is a certified hit maker currently ruling TRACE Mziki airwaves with club banger Nananana and 18 N Over.
