For Love and Justice Telemundo

This February, DStv shares all the love.

It’s the month of love and we at DStv have been hit by a love bug. Here is how we will be spreading some #DStvLove this February:

1. Support cancer

In support of the fight against cancer, DStv meets up with trichologist Muli Muysoka who shares more on his scalp and hair restoration clinic – Hairhub Trichology Centre.

We also had a chat with Issaji Moussah, the founder of Eddah’s Hope, an organisation leading in the fight against cancer in Kenya.

2. Shonda Rhimes is back

This is also the month that Shonda Rhimes makes a great comeback to the DStv universe with The Fixer, coming soon, and Grey’s Anatomy on Friday 12 February, Express from the US at 02:00 on M-Net (101).

If that’s too long a wait, you can still get some Shonda drama on How to Get Away with Murder on Mondays at 21:30 on VUZU AMP and help solve the puzzle: who shot Annalise Keating?

If you miss any episodes, you can download the DStv Now app and watch HTGAWM on your smartphone or tablet or on DStv Catch Up on your DStv Explora.

DStv loves Shonda Rhimes!

3. EPL and more sports

With the ongoing English Premier League and La Liga matches, SuperSport adds more pumped up football action as the Kenya Premier League kicks off on Saturday, 6 February.

Also watch out for the Super Rugby from Friday 26 February on SuperSport.

DStv loves sports.

4. New local shows

Brace yourself for a new Swahili drama, Nira, from Monday 1 February through to Friday at 20:30 EAT on Maisha Magic East.

And since we are obsessed with local talent, you can also binge on the new season of Sumu La Penzi every Saturday from 19:30 to 21:00.

DStv loves local talent

5. Award Season

MultiChoice is proud to host the DStv Eutelsat Awards ceremony that will be held on Tuesday 9 February in Nairobi. This award is meant stimulate interest in science and technology and to inspire innovative thinking among secondary and high school students across Africa.

The 2016 GRAMMY Awards will be held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on Monday 15 February, followed by the Academy Awards on Thursday 28 February at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. And as is tradition, DStv is in the frontline to bring you live coverage of these award shows.

Also look forward to fashion on the red carpet as Giuliana Rancic and her team analyse celebrity looks from the GRAMMYs and the Oscars, the best and worst looks, fashion dos and don’ts and much more, on Fashion Police on E! (124).

DStv loves the awards and the red carpet. And to see just how much we can glam it, check out the DStv Glam Community and be about that life.

6. New telenovela on Telemundo

In the spirit of love, Telemundo (118) presents Under the Same Sky, a new telenovela that premieres on Monday 8 February at 18:10.

But one can never get enough of love triangles, villains and drama. Also catch A Passion for Revenge that premieres on Monday 22 February at 18:00.

But you can watch it earlier during the Passionista Screening with Telemundo on Saturday 20 February in Nairobi. To win a ticket to the launch party, check out Telemundo Africa facebook page.
