Have you heard that DStv is launching a completely new package offering?

DStv is introducing new packages in Mozambique from 5 November 2026. The changes include new package names, revised channel line-ups, a dedicated Sports package, a new Entertainment package, and all at a reduced price. DStv customers can now See More for Less.

You asked, and DStv listened. The new packages are simpler, clearer and offer more of what customers are looking for: More Sport, More Channels and Less Repeats.

The four main packages have been designed to make the best content more accessible. In Mozambique, we have:

• Inicial (+57 channels, from 600 MT/month)
• Select (+86 channels, from 1,100 MT/month)
• Desporto (+111 channels, from 2,000 MT/month)
• Ultra (+131 channels, from 3,450 MT/month)

For the first time, DStv is introducing a dedicated Sports package for fans of the best international football, while also offering the best in international and local entertainment, as well as children's content.

The Desporto package brings you exclusive access to all Premier League, Champions League and Europa League matches, as well as the best matches from Ligue 1, the NBA and combat sports (UFC/EFC/PFL).

DStv Inicial Package

• Get the best value for money DStv has to offer. Enjoy local and international entertainment, movies and live football with the new Novelas+, Maningue Magic, SuperSport Máximo 360, SuperSport Máximo 3, Cartoon Network and much more.
• +57 channels.
• From 600 MT/month.
• What's new in this package: Novelas+ (the best Turkish and Latin American telenovelas), SuperSport Máximo 360 and Máximo 3 (including selected La Liga, Serie A and Europa League matches).

DStv Select Package

• The package for the whole family, featuring the stories you love, favorite content for little ones on children's channels, and much more.
• +86 channels.
• From 1,100 MT/month.
• Includes these channels: international entertainment on AXN, STAR Movies and STAR Life, plus the best children's content on Cartoonito and Moonbug.

DStv Desporto Package

• The best in international sport, including the Premier League, La Liga, Champions League, Europa League, F1 and WWE.
• +111 channels.
• From 2,000 MT/month.

- Everything available in Select, plus all Premier League, Champions League and Europa League matches, the best matches from Ligue 1, the NBA and MMA (UFC/EFC/PFL).

DStv Ultra

• This is the home of the best premium international content. Enjoy movies and series from TVCine channels, a wide variety of sports, and children's content on channels such as Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, alongside all the entertainment and news channels DStv has to offer.
• +131 channels.
• From 3,450 MT/month.
• SuperSport Motorsport brings you premium sporting events, including major tennis and golf tournaments, Formula 1 and MotoGP. Subscribers can, of course, also enjoy all the other sports available on DStv, including football, cycling, combat sports and athletics.

What is changing about DStv packages?

We are making it easier for customers to choose the package that best suits their viewing needs. As part of CANAL+'s Global Offer Strategy, we are introducing a simplified package structure that provides greater clarity, easier upgrade options and more consistent viewing experience.

When will the new packages be launched?

The launch in Mozambique is scheduled for 5 November 2026.

Why are the packages being restructured?

The package restructuring is designed to make DStv more accessible, affordable and relevant to customers' needs. The changes are based on customer feedback and viewing trends, which highlighted the need for:

• Greater affordability and better value for subscribers.
• Better access to attractive content in entry-level packages.
• Simpler package options and clearer upgrade paths.
• Package structures that better reflect changing customer viewing preferences.

Will migration affect my viewing history, decoder settings or XtraView?

No. Existing decoder settings, favorites, XtraView settings, viewing history, billing plans and associated services will remain unchanged. Customers do not need to change any decoder settings because of migration.

Will my XtraView still work?

Yes. Customers can continue using XtraView and retain their existing XtraView settings after the migration.

What will happen to my add-on packages?

Existing add-on packages, such as French Touch and French Plus, will remain unchanged. Customers will continue to be charged separately for any add-on packages they subscribe to, in addition to their DStv package.

Can I add French add-on packages to the new packages?

Yes. Existing add-on packages will remain available and can continue to be added to eligible new packages.

What happens if I have already paid for my current package annually?

Customers who have paid annually for packages that are not being restructured will remain on their current package until the end of their paid subscription period. They will not be migrated to a new package during their active annual subscription period.

Customers who have paid annually for a package that is being restructured will be automatically migrated to the new package. There will be no additional charges.

What if I have already paid annually and want to migrate to one of the new packages?

If a customer wishes to switch to one of the new packages, they will have two options:

• Downgrade: The customer will need to wait until the end of the annual viewing period, in accordance with our business rules.
• Upgrade: The customer will need to pay the difference through our payment channels.

Will the new packages be available on DStv Stream (standalone)?

Yes. The new packages will be available on DStv Stream.

Will the new packages also be available on DStv via Streaming (complementary streaming)?

Yes. The new packages will be available on both DStv Stream and DStv via Streaming.
