Jane the Virgin (watch Season 1 every Saturday at 19:00 on VUZU)

Jane the Virgin received incredible success and response during Awards Season in 2015. The series returns in 2016 to one nomination for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy for Gina Rodriguez. If you’re looking to laugh out loud and really get invested in a series with welcoming characters, this show is the perfect choice!

American Horror Story: Hotel (Tuesdays at 02:00 CAT on M-Net Edge)
Picking up two nominations for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made For Television for Lady Gaga, American Horror Story: Hotel has had us talking about everything from the cast to the storyline and the quite out there characters. Lady Gaga delivers an incredible performance, showing us she’s more than capable to hold her own not only in the music industry but within the acting industry too.

The Good Wife (Season 7 starts Saturday 9 January at 20:00 on M-Net)

His second nomination for his role in The Good Wife, will Alan Cumming take the award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series, Limited Series or TV Movie in 2016? Only time will tell! After six seasons of The Good Wife, we are keen to watch the new season because the series is pretty much addictive!

Downton Abbey (Sundays at 20:10 on BBC First)

Downton Abbey of course picked up a nomination, this time for Supporting actress in a TV series, limited series or TV movie for Joanne Froggatt. Downton Abbey is always a fan favourite with a dedicated following to rival any other.
