AfricaXP is proud to announce the launch of Trigger on DStv this month! The channel will be available on channel 188.

Trigger is a general entertainment channel for the male viewer who knows what he wants; an entertaining, uncomplicated channel that combines all the things a man needs and finds interesting. A bit of macho, a bit of detective work, a bit action, a bit of sexy, a bit of sport, and a bit of advice - content that will Trigger his fancy.

Head of Channels at AfricaXP Francois Schreuder says: “The channel has been designed in significant part with MultiChoice in mind as the platform to premiere the channel. We don’t do generic, we do targeted - and Trigger needed to connect and resonate with male viewers in order to keep them engaged.”

The channel will launch as part of the rewards offered on MultiChoice’s brand new customer’s loyalty programme, DStv Thanks, which has also launched to customers. All DStv customers will get a taste of the exciting channel from 7 until 21 March, thereafter, it will only be available to customers who have qualified for the programme.

CEO of MultiChoice Africa Brand De Villiers says: “We’re delighted to launch this exciting channel as a reward for our loyal customers. Trigger will not only enhance our customers’ television viewing experience but also solidify their connection to our platform through the DStv Thanks programme. We will continue to bring more value and quality entertainment to our valued customers to show them our appreciation for their ongoing support.”
