MultiChoice Kenya, via its PR agency Engage BM, scooped gold for the special event Lion Guard: Return of the Roar campaign at the Global SABRE Awards that were held in Morocco last week. MultiChoice received the Gold Winner award in the Special Event category from among 5 000 from around the world.
Speaking at the award ceremony, MultiChoice Kenya Corporate Communications manager Philip Wahome said, “We thank all our in-house teams and our agency who were involved in creating award-winning work that has been recognised at an African level. MultiChoice Kenya remains committed to enriching the lives of our consumers by making great entertainment accessible and delivering it innovatively.”
The SABRE Awards, akin to the Oscars of the PR world, recognise superior achievement in branding reputation and engagement from around the globe. The awards have a 25-year heritage, with separate competitions in North America, EMEA, the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, South Asia, and now Africa.
The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar will roar onto Disney Junior (309) every Saturday at 10:00 with The Lion Guard every weekday at 18:30.
