After winning the KPL title on an unbeaten record, Gor Mahia's captain Jerim "Jerry" Jagoal chats to us.
In case you haven’t heard, there is this running joke that Gor Mahia is now ready to join the EPL and have picked Chelsea in their debut match. Even from where I'm standing as a Gooner, that stings a lot. Now be a darling and hug a Chelsea fan.
But only the Mighty Kogalo can get away with such big dreams, after all, they have won the Kenyan Premier League title for a third time in a row, this time on an unbeaten run. Again, I feel the urge to bring up Arsenal's unbeaten run (I swear I'm not showing off).
Back to the main issue, can Gor Mahia replicate their commendable performance in the Top 8 League? Tune in to SuperSport9 E (SS9E) as they face off Tusker FC in the 2nd leg Semi-finals on Wednesday 4 November at 19:15 at Nyayo Stadium.
While Michael Olunga has been hailed as the man of the match over and over, Gor Mahia's captain and goalkeeper Jerim Onyango's efforts in leading this team to the historic win is laudable.
DStv caught up with Jerim, the man popularly known as Jerry Jagoal among the Gor Mahia fraternity, and he had a lot to share on what the trophy means for Kogalo and how he now has his eye on a Cecafa win.
