DStv Kenya launches online shop to enhance customer experience.
Speaking at the launch, acting MultiChoice general manager Stephen Isaboke said: “We are excited to launch an online shopping portal for our customers in addition to the over 20 MultiChoice Service Centres that are already operational. This online portal will make it easier for our customers to buy hardware and accessories from anywhere across the country. Kenya is already a 24-hour economy and this move is intended to give our customer the opportunity to make their purchases any time of day, and with utmost convenience using the online platform, which they can access via their computers, smartphones or tablets,”
At the click of a button, DStv customers can place an order, make e-payments and have their order delivered anywhere in the country. Customers can also check out the latest DStv accessories, enjoy exclusive offers and services and interact with both DStv staff and fellow customers.
“Our current focus is on streamlining the DStv customer experience by introducing self-service tools that allow us to serve our customers in a faster and convenient way,” added Isaboke.
DStv Soko will offer the same collections as in-store, giving customers access to the complete range of DStv hardware accessories as well as standalone decoders. There will also be additional exclusive "online-only" offers available for customers all year-round.
The online shop will also debut the DStv 24/7 national sales channel available exclusively to online shoppers. The site also offers an exclusive DStv online-shopper free delivery within Nairobi.
With the launch of the e-shop, MultiChoice Kenya hopes to reach over 20 million Internet users in the country covering 54.8 percent of the population in Kenya.
