Since inception, SportPesa has worked with integrity towards social responsibility and benefit to the community through investment in local sports, entertainment and now crossing the borders to bring the world’s greatest closer to the world’s next greatest.
SportPesa has become the official betting partner of Arsenal Football Club in Kenya. The three-and-a-half year partnership effective mid this season will focus on grassroots football, including both player and coach development, and will enhance SportPesa’s sponsorship of the Kenyan Premier League and Super 8 League.
Catch the kick-off of the Kenya Premier League this Saturday 13 February as Ulinzi takes on Sony Sugar at 12:30 on SuperSport9 East.
Some of the benefits that will come along with this partnership include;
- SportPesa will be offering five-day training camps twice a season which will be led by Arsenal-trained coaching staff. These sessions will be designed to ensure that both footballers and coaches in Kenya learn to incorporate the key principles of "playing the Arsenal way". These camps will also help to support the initiatives that SportPesa have in place to identify and nurture talent as a grassroots level
- SportPesa will also engage directly with Arsenal supporters in Kenya through the club’s digital channels, promotional activities and marketing initiatives featuring first-team players and club legends. Arsenal fans in Kenya will also be offered a range of club-related benefits, including official merchandise and match tickets to see the team in action at Emirates Stadium.
- Kenyan football administrators will also be offered opportunities to meet and learn from expert Arsenal staff responsible for stadium management and security and take these learnings back to Kenya to help develop their own facilities.
