After a month of exciting voice entries from hundreds of thousands of talented Kenyans, Airtel Kenya and TRACE will on 17 May announce the top five finalists for Africa’s biggest music talent search and competition, Airtel TRACE Music Star.
Season 2 of Airtel TRACE Music Star has been a huge success, with hundreds of thousands of entries it is obvious that young talented Kenyans have embraced this innovative talent search that enables them to simply call 0900 733733, sing and stand the chance to become a star.
The five best contestants will be selected by a team of distinguished judges comprising Musician Atemi Oyungu, reggae sensation Wyre and producer Chris Adwar.
The voting for KenyawWinner commences on the 20 May to close on the 28 May; allowing friends, families and supporters to vote for their preferred contestants. Each of the top five contestants will be given a unique code through which their supporters can vote for them.
The Kenyan winner stands a chance to win Ksh 1.5M at the Kenya finale and thereafter, qualifies to compete in the Pan African grand finale where the ultimate prize comprises a mentorship program with multi-award winning American singer-songwriter Keri Hilson in Atlanta.
The winner will not only star in their own music video alongside Keri Hilson; he/she will get an opportunity to record a duet with the Knock You Down songstress, as well as receive a signed contract with a major music label and worldwide media exposure through various TRACE’s platforms.
Also, the first runners up will take home an iPhone 6s Plus + Kes 100 000 and the second winner will be taking home a Samsung 6 Edge and a Cash prize of Ksh 50 000.

“We are now in the most crucial stage of the Airtel TRACE Music Star. This is the stage where all Kenyans can power their favourite contestants into stardom by voting for them.
