•             adopt of new technologies will mean that queues will become a thing of the past

Speaking about some of the features and service options MultiChoice customers can look forward to, the General Manager of MultiChoice Ghana Cecil Sunkwa - Mills said: "The new centre will dramatically improve the way we interact with our clients, we will be able to serve them a lot faster and provide them with a lot more service solutions and information that in future will allow customers to self-serve at their convenience."

He explained: “The new MultiChoice customer centre is a purpose built facility which was designed with the customer as the primary focus of the thought process, our main service hall is a lot more spacious and equipped with state of the art technology including self-help computerised touch points that will ensure long queues will be a thing of the past, in addition we have a dedicated demo lounge that allows customers to interact on a one-on-one basis with our service agents and try out some of the latest products and services we have on offer such as the DStv HD Explora, DStv Now and BoxOffice. This will ensure that by the time a customer decides to purchase one of our products, he or she is fully conversant with how the new technology or device works which means they will be able to enjoy the maximum benefits from day one.”

Giving reasons for MultiChoice's decision to open the centre in the new location, Cecil said: “Abelenkpe is a fairly centralised location for many of our customers in Accra, thus providing them with convenient accessibility to our services and expanding our network of branches within the city centre. Our objective is to ensure that we make our services seamless as possible for our customers thus leaving them with more time to do other important things”.

The new service centre, which begins operations on Monday 20 June, will be open as follows: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 19:00, Saturday 09:00 to 16:30, Sunday 13:00 - 17:00.
