About MultiChoice Ghana

MultiChoice Ghana was first incorporated as Hitech Vision Limited, and in 1993 was established as a joint venture between MultiChoice Africa, Richard Darko, Bryan Harris, Louis Casely-Hayford and Ardeley Investments.

MultiChoice Ghana’s offices are strategically located in the capital, Accra, as well as in Kumasi and Takoradi. MultiChoice Ghana delivers a dynamic technology platform and an excellent bouquet offering, consisting of well-established and highly rated international and local content.

We aim to give subscribers in Ghana high quality, locally tailored entertainment they have come to expect. DStv is proud of its reputation for being an African product, firmly rooted in the continent's success.

As our business has grown, so has our investment in Ghana. We pride ourselves on the quality and range of choice we offer subscribers, including over 90 video channels, 10 radio channels and 20 DMX music channels, 24 hours a day.

We will continue to provide subscribers with a world-class pay television service, giving consumers the flexibility to choose a bouquet of channels that suits both their viewing needs and budgetary requirements.

Local Content
There is increasing demand across the continent for the localisation of TV content and we are committed to creating and supporting African content made by Africans, for Africans.

M-Net, a premium content provider for DStv, has produced a number of new television series and is now moving towards more localised, relevant productions of drama and tele-novelas such as Jacobs Cross in East, West and Southern Africa.

Popular programs include Big Brother Africa, 53 Extra, Stargist and Money Drop. The phenomenal success of our local content initiatives has led to the launch of more Africa Magic channels, which now comprises Africa Magic Entertainment, Africa Magic Movies, Africa Magic Movies 1, Africa Magic World, Africa Magic Hausa and Africa Magic Yoruba.

Sport is a critical component of the local content mix, and we are proud of the support and commitment SuperSport has given to the development and showcasing of African soccer, including the Ghana Premier League.
