The best of HTGAWM

After weeks of drama and suspense, the Shonda Rhimes drama series How To Get Away With Murder is coming to an end tonight – and we still have so many questions.

If like us, you’ve been addicted to Viola Davis’ character Annalise Keating’s lectures, the drama that is her life and the cases to solve, then you definitely don’t want to miss the season finale at 20:00 on Vuzu AMP.

You can still catch up with past episodes online with DStv Now or with the app for Android or iOS.

While we wait to see if we will get closer to the truth regarding Lila’s murder, here are our best moments from the first season of How To Get Away With Murder.

Best episode
The very first episode of How To Get Away With Murder simply blew us away! From Viola’s stern and disciplined acting to the story line, we were hooked from the get go.

We were a bit confused with the flashbacks at first, but when we realised what was going on, that Annalise was cheating on her husband and her students were covering up her husband’s death, and then the continuous coverage of the missing student - we knew there was a connection. We just weren’t sure what it was.

And then Annalise’s fondness for Wes always had us wondering if there was some sort of relation between the two. Nothing’s been raised, so maybe it’s just our inner pseudo-detective nose.

Best quote
There have been some great one-liners from just about everyone on HTGAWM, but we must give this award to our dear Asher.

We just look at him and burst into laughter, knowing something very inappropriate - but oh so funny - will be coming out of his mouth in a matter of seconds.

Our favourite Asher quote this season was:

Best character
Our favourite character is definitely Annalise Keating. Viola Davis won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Annalise.

She embodies this character so well, and even scares us when she channels the dark side of Annalise we didn’t know was there.

Annalise has been feisty, confident and powerful. She demands respect and she’s definitely one of TV’s most powerful woman - and we love her!

Sometimes she also scares us just a little bit, and we know for sure Annalise is someone we always want on our side.

Tune in for the season finale of How To Get Away With Murder tonight at 20:00 on Vuzu AMP, or watch the episode anytime, anywhere, with your DStv Now app.
