In conjunction with Nicholas Mbikiwa of Business Online (BOI), MultiChoice Botswana donated DStv Educational Package to the Francistown Centre of the Deaf on Wednesday 22 June.
The Francistown Centre for the Deaf currently accommodates 58 children who are hearing impaired. The centre not only offers the children a place to stay, but also provides them with an education.
In response to Nicholas Mbikiwa's request of MultiChoice Botswana to assist with subsidising subscription to DStv after he had generously purchased a television and DStv Explora decoder to the centre, MultiChoice obliged and in a donor’s ceremony, handed over to the centre.
MultiChoice Botswana also covered the entire installation process of the newly acquired DStv at no charge to the centre.
MultiChoice is grateful for this newly established relationship with the centre and looks forward to continuing on this journey of enhancing the quality of life of the young learners through the integration of ICT and education.
