DStv is excited to announce that more subscribers will now be able to enjoy quality time with their loved ones this coming holiday season with DStv’s best entertainment, at their convenience.
From 29 October, DStv Compact Plus and Compact subscribers with active DStv Exploras will receive access to the popular DStv Catch Up service. Previously, this service was only available to DStv Premium subscribers.
DStv Catch Up allows viewers to catch up on their favourite programmes that they have missed, when it suits them. It’s a great way to not miss a single second of entertainment and to discover the great content available on DStv. On this service, subscribers will find an exciting range of the most popular series, movies, documentaries as well as a selection of the best soccer and other sporting highlights which are automatically sent via satellite to subscribers’ DStv Exploras - ready and waiting for them to watch whenever they have the time.
Up to 100 hours of the best entertainment will be made available in crystal clear high definition. The content on DStv Catch Up is linked to the DStv package of the subscriber, e.g. DStv Compact subscribers will see content available on the DStv Compact package.
"We always look for opportunities to enhance the viewing experience of our subscribers and we strive to provide them with cutting-edge services and products. It is for this reason that we constantly introduce new technologies and enhance our existing services. Offering Catch Up to our DStv Compact Plus and Compact subscribers with DStv Exploras is just one of the ways we are doing this," said a MultiChoice representative.
DStv Compact Plus and Compact subscribers with active Exploras will receive a software update in the next week which will enable the Catch Up service. Content will start downloading from 29 October and will build up to the 100 hours over time.
