Adam Levine sitting on Blake Shelton's lap

From Suits' Harvey and Mike to The Big Bang Theory's Raj and Howard, we look at the duos that we love on DStv.

TV bromances make for good chemistry. They lighten the mood even in intense and serious scenes. if you want to see what we mean, catch these bromances on DStv:

5. Harvey and Mike

From the first time college drop-out Mike accidently walked into Harvey’s interview, these two different personalities clicked and we knew they were destined for greatness. Like any other relationship, this one is rocky and the two "suits" have had their tough moments but in the end they always have each other’s back. Let’s hope this bromance keeps going strong in the whole new Suits S5 that premieres on Friday, 26 June at 3:00 (express from the US) on M-Net.

4. Sam and Callen

Whoever thought two macho men could have a flourishing bromance? From finishing each other’s sentences to Sam hugging Callen, these two have come a long way, and they stop more bad guys when they work as a team. Join them on Tuesdays at 20:00 on M-Net Edge.

3. McGarret and Danno

Steely army boy meets by-the-book detective boy, the latter doesn’t like the former’s "rogue" methods of fighting crime, they bond anyway and are now co-existing happily ever after. This pretty much summarizes the odd-couple bromance between McGarret and Danno. Initially forced to work together, these two have managed to work through their differences and now care deeply for each other on Hawaii Five-O. Don't miss this ying-yang bromance on Thursdays at 21:30 on M-Net. You can also Catch Up with them online and on your DStv Explora.

2. Raj and Howard

Raj and Howard’s relationship is a complicated one. It comes complete with demands, baggage and jealousy fits. These two have even been to couples therapy together! Of the two, Raj often comes across as needy and a nag. Yes, this bromance is as much of a handful as it is funny. Join them in the new The Big Bang Theory S8, double bill every Wednesday at 20:30 on M-Net, also available on Catch Up online and on your DStv Explora.

1. Adam and Blake

Other than the blind auditions, one thing that keeps The Voice going is the bromance between Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. It is as real as such relationships can get, they ridicule each other, make jokes, challenge each other, and hug and kiss a lot. Occasionally, Adam even sits on Blake’s lap. Try and beat that! This bromance is best explained as a "sibling-rivalry" that makes for good humour on The Voice. Are you in for more bromance? catch up with this duo in The Voice S8, weekdays at 19:30 on M-Net, also available on Catch Up online and your Explora.
