A couple on Our Perfect Wedding Kenya

October really is the month that DStv turns the heat up with new seasons of every show you've ever loved like The Fixer S7, How to Get Away with Murder, Prison Break and Empire and must-watch brand new shows like The Good Doctor and the multi-Emmy 2017 winner The Handmaid's Tale. I don't normally talk like this but to borrow a line from the youngings, October is finna be lit! But that's not all there is, Maisha Magic East kicks off October with a hot line-up of new seasons and some returning shows that will definitely keep you entertained.

Our Perfect Wedding S2

The first season of Our Perfect Wedding was nothing short of dramatic; for instance that aunt in episode four who had to approve everything from the couple walking down the isle to the exchanging of vows. Or that time a "well-meaning" pastor made a couple walk back and forth the isle with a rope tried around their necks. When it comes to drama and fairytale love stories, the second season of OPW is not going to be any different, tune in to the premiere on Thursday 5 October at 19:00 EAT.

Sue na Jonnie

The beloved Sue na Jonnie is back for a second season, and the gang is in even more trouble as they try to hide their lie and benefit from it. Getting rid of the real Johnny is not going to be easy, along the way they will make some mistakes that will have major consequences. Featuring Catherine Kamau, Martin Githinji, and Serah Ndanu, tune in to the brand new season of Sue na Jonnie weekdays at 14:30 EAT and every Sunday at 20:30 EAT.

To refresh your memory and recap a bit on what happened in season 1, watch this interview we had with Sue (Catherine Kamau) and Jonnie (Martin Githinji).

One in a Million

It's been long since we last saw One in a Million on our screens, and now it is back. Seems like the Bolos have settled in on their 'uptown' life but are all their money problems gone? We don't think so. Also expect some annoying relatives and neighbours. The new season premieres on 31 October at 20:30 EAT.

Some honourable mentions on MME, these shows you love will still be airing in October:

Maza

Still can't believe that in this show, a woman turns her best friend into a cat so she can steal her life. But will her evil plans succeed, tune in to Maza Monday to Friday at 18:30 to find out.

Maza also stars Nairobi Diaries' Luwi Capello as the casanova Leo, read more on what he had to say about his character.

Pambio Live

Hosted by Size 8 and DJ Ruff, Pambio Live will continue to bless your Sunday mid-mornings with the best of gospel music and some celebrity guests you definitely want to catch up with every Sunday at 11:00 EAT.

The Turn Up

Amina and DJ Joe Mfalme continue to Turn Up the heat with trendiest local music and fun interviews with some of the industry's best, tune in on Saturday 7 October at 20:30 EAT.

Jela 5-Star

As the new Prison Break premieres on M-Net this October, the gang of Jela 5-Star continue their shenanigans within the four walls of prison, tune in from Monday to Wednesday at 19:30 EAT.
