We catch up with one of the KPL's top scorers.
One of the Kenya Premier League’s top scorers is not what you would expect. He is a cool, calm and collected chap who exudes an air of quiet confidence. Michael Olunga is fast becoming a name to be reckoned with in the SportPesa Premier League and in East Africa after his laudable performance at the 2015 Cecafa Kagame Cup.
The rising star’s life is all about football and school. Being a third year Engineering student, he doesn't have time for anything else. We can’t help but notice that he always works to score a goal or two in each of his games or at least creates opportunities for goals.
In the recent game between Gor Mahia and Ulinzi Stars, the only chance K’Ogalo had was in the 85th minute when Olunga beat his marker down the left before laying the ball off for Khalid Aucho who didn't quite make the shot they were hoping for.
The confirmation of K'Ogalo's title holder merit will be officially determined on Wednesday 16 September at 15:00 on SS9 East channel 219 as they battle it out with Sony Sugar.
The left-footed striker, who also plays for the national team, Harambee Stars, recently spoke to us about the Afcon qualifiers and his strategy before the games.

When he is not on the pitch, here is how Michael unwinds:
If you are into everything K’Ogalo, another match to look out for is Gor Mahia v Western Stima on Sunday 27 September at 15:00 on SS9 East. You can also catch the highlights on your DStv Explora on DStv Catch Up.
