The world’s biggest show returns to FOX with international premieres of Season 7 airing within hours of broadcast on AMC in the US.

FOX, the world’s leading international entertainment brand and a unit of FOX Network Group, has announced that The Walking Dead Season 7 will premiere internationally on Monday 24 October across all FOX channels outside the US in 125+ markets within 24 hours of the series Sunday 23 October bow on AMC in the US.

International fans will be able to tune in to the much anticipated season’s premiere on 24 October worldwide.

Season 6 of The Walking Dead broke international viewership records and dominated as the #1 show outside the US. The Season 6 premiere was up 17% from prior season. FOX pioneered the day and date release model with Season 1 of The Walking Dead, and the group remains the only international broadcaster to execute this strategy at scale.

As in previous seasons, the show’s seventh season of 16 episodes will air in two parts, with the first eight episodes kicking off internationally Monday 24 October and the final eight returning February 2017.
