FOX, the exclusive international home of The Walking Dead and global leader in delivering the best scripted entertainment to international audiences first, announced the return of the series to FOX channels internationally following AMC’s Season 8 renewal. Season 8 will premiere in 2017 and will kick off with the 100th episode of the series.
FOX partnered with AMC on the series at script level and launched the first ever global simultaneous release in 2010. Now in its seventh season, The Walking Dead returns to over 200 million international viewers in over 125 countries on FOX near simultaneously with its Sunday 23 October premiere on AMC in the US.
DStv customers can watch Season 7 from Monday 24 October at 21:00 only on FOX (125).

The Walking Dead continues to shatter international ratings records for FOX, with the Season 6 return last year up an impressive 17% year-on-year live ratings growth (+24% reach increase). It too was simultaneously launched in all 125 FOX markets on 12 October, reinforcing the network’s “The Best. First” programming and scheduling strategy and reaffirming FOX’s commitment to its viewers to deliver the best entertainment programming before anyone else.
