In Rebel, Danielle Moné Truitt plays Rebecca “Rebel” Knight, a police officer on a mission to expose corruption in the police force.

Rebel begins Monday 5 June on BET (129) at 21:30, and each week viewers will follow Rebel Knight as she explores the dark side of American law enforcement.

Danielle Moné Truitt is dedicated to her craft and feels privileged to have been chosen for the complex role of Rebel Knight. She has previously appeared in Super Fun Night and The Princess and the Frog (as the voice of Georgia). Truitt, a graduate of Sacramento University, made a successful start in theatre, and landed her first movie role in Fugitive Hunter in 2005. Rebel is Truitt’s first starring TV role.

Bassett is a talented actress who has had on-and-off Broadway success in shows such as Macbeth and The Mountaintop. Laurence Fishburne

Nicole Kidman
