In a brand new series, The Rap Game (Mondays at 20:00, starting Monday 23 January) rapper and music mogul Jermaine Dupri mentors five hot aspiring young rappers towards stardom. Jermaine is the powerhouse musical force behind hip hop superstars such as Mariah Carey, Usher and Bow Wow and in this series, he is putting his expertise to the test by inviting five young potential rap superstars, and their manager moms, to move into his Atlanta mansion. While in the mansion, the kids will be tasked with learning every aspect of the music business in the hopes of achieving their ultimate rap superstar dream: being signed to Jermaine's label, So So Def. This new docu-series from executive producer Queen Latifah is packed with excitement.
Also premiering on Monday 23 January at 20:45, Dance Moms Season 7 follows children's early steps on the road to stardom and their doting mothers who are there for every rehearsal, performance and bow all under their dance instructor’s discerning eyes.
Presenting a powerful cast of characters, the reality show immerses itself in the highs and lows surrounding dance competition season, delivering a captivating and dramatic look at the cast's intense pursuit of National Dance titles. Man vs Child: Chef Showdown is also on a Monday evening at 19:10. Some of the world's most talented young cooks go up against the very people they look up to; professionally trained adult chefs. In each episode a team of five child cooking prodigies Cloyce, 13, Holden, 14, Emmalee, 12, Dylan, 11 and Estie, 7, will challenge a different prolific executive-level chef in the kitchen, where they will defend their culinary abilities. Will raw talent and imagination prove to be enough for the first generation of kids raised on cooking shows? Great chefs will be put to the ultimate test, against the food stars of tomorrow.
Adam Gertler, chef and TV personality, hosts Man vs Child: Chef Showdown while Mike Isabella, chef and restaurateur, and Alia Zaine, private chef, serve as reoccurring judges and commentators. Guest judges include a number of renowned executive chefs and restaurateurs.
