Comedian Leslie Jones

It’s a brand new month and DStv continues to entertain with a great selection of series, movies, documentaries, live sport in HD, and delightful cartoons for young and old alike.

Some of our favourites have ended (don’t worry, you can still watch the season finales of Grey’s Anatomy, The Fixer, Quantico and Supergirl on DStv Catch Up), and with Monday blockbuster nights on M-Net (This is Us, The Good Fight and Veep back-to-back), the M-Net Binge channel and three different movies to choose from on a Sunday night, we are certainly spoilt for choice.

And if you download our DStv Now App, you can be sure to catch all of the sporting action live! From the Uefa Champions League Final between Juventus and Real Madrid on Saturday 3 June at 20:00 on SuperSport 3, to the tennis action at Roland Garros and Formula 1 hitting the track in Canada and Azerbaijan, with the DStv Now app, you can watch TV, anytime, anywhere.

Here are just a few things you shouldn’t miss out on this June.

The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Comedy Central
From Monday 5 June, The Tonight Show returns to our DStv screens. Following The Daily Show at 22:00 on Comedy Central (122), we get to see Jimmy Fallon welcome guests who won’t always know what tricks Jimmy has up his sleeves.

From games and quizzes to musical guests and the ever present The Roots, late night TV viewing is a must-see!

Michael Jackson: Finding Neverland on Lifetime
25 June is the eight-year anniversary of the King of Pop’s death.

And while we continue to enjoy Michael Jackson’s music, Lifetime will remember the musical legend, with the movie Michael Jackson: Finding Neverland on Sunday, 25 June at 20:00 on DStv channel 131.

Starring Navi as Michael Jackson and Chad L Coleman (remember Tyrese from The Walking Dead?) and Sam Adegoke as Jackson's bodyguards, the story looks at the last two years of Jackson’s life from the bodyguards's point of view.

Game of Thrones S6 on M-Net Binge
Yes, winter has truly come to Westeros, and while we’re counting down the days until the Season 7 premiere on Monday 17 July (at the same time as the US!), M-Net Binge is giving us a weekend to binge on Season 6.

Do you remember how we were all on the edge of our seats last season, when we weren’t sure if Jon Snow was dead or alive? And what would happen to Sansa and Cersei? And if the Starks would ever reunite?

If you missed it the first time around, or just want to relive all of the drama, tune in to M-Net Binge on 24 and 25 June at 21:30 and binge the entire Season 6 of Game of Thrones!

We promise it will be gory, tense and cold – so worth it!

House of Cards S5 on M-Net
US politics has become so interesting, when the people voted for a businessman and reality TV star, to be their 45th president.

Now President Underwood may not compare to President Trump, but it sure will be very interesting to see if life will imitate art when the fifth season of House of Cards premieres on 14 June at 22:30 on M-Net.

2017 BET Awards on BET
Celebrating the African-American stars of music, sport, TV and film, we can’t wait for the 2017 BET Awards on 27 June at 20:00 on DStv channel 129.

Comedian Leslie Jones will be hosting the BET Awards, and with some of our favourite African stars nominated in the Best Act: Africa category, we’ll be cheering the loudest!

The BET Awards is always a special ceremony, and with them honouring Beyoncé as an icon at this year’s ceremony, we can’t wait to see what the organisers will deliver!

Stay connected to DStv and enjoy all of this great programming and so much more!
