Here’s some of the shows we’re looking forward to enjoying on this October.
The Fixer S7
Our hearts broke a little when Shonda Rhimes told us season seven would be the last of The Fixer, but we’re so happy it’s coming back. Set your reminders, because Vuzu AMP is bringing us The Fixer S7, Express From The US, from Monday 9 October at 21:00.
Now we get to see how Mellie Grant will do as the first female president of the United States, what devious plans Cyrus Beene will get up to and if Olivia Pope will find her happily ever after. Oh yes, and Quinn is gonna be a mommy!
2017 BET Hip Hop Awards
Celebrating the best of hip hop music, you don’t wanna miss the awards on Friday, 13 October at 21:00 on BET (DStv channel 129).
Our new fav Cardi B and Kendrick Lamar have the most nominations, with nine each. And we can’t wait to see who will walk away with one of the biggest awards of the evening, Single of the Year.
With performances from DJ Khaled, Migos, Yo Gotti, Trina and Cardi B, we know it’s going to be a rocking evening.
How the 90s Changed The World
The 90s was the end of an era and the dawn of new things, including political systems and our obsession with celebrity culture. From Sunday, 15 October at 19:20, the HISTORY channel (DStv channel 186) will give us an insight in to how this decade changed everything.
Afridocs continues to inspire and the documentary on Nigerian legendary musician Fela Kuti is no exception. From Academy Award winning documentary director Alex Gibney, Finding Fela looks as Fela Kuti's message, which is as powerful and potent today, as it was during the 1970s.
Tune in to BET (DStv channel 129) on Sunday, 15 October at 22:00 for Finding Fela.
The Walking Dead
Our favourite survivors return to FOX (DStv channel 125) on Monday, 23 October at 21:00.
The last time we saw Rick, his life was saved by Ezekiel, Maggie and the tiger. We’re sure Neagan is not happy at all with how things left off, so he’ll probably have a few tricks up his sleeves.
We can’t wait to see what The Walking Dead S8 will serve up on Monday evenings.
Enjoy all of these fabulous showa on DStv and so much more!
