The presenters of The Voice Nigeria

After a series of emotional duels, the battles came to an end on The Voice Nigeria. Viewers were not disappointed as the contestants came to the final stage of the battles with high hopes of moving to the next stage.

#TeamWaje started off the episode with Zorah and Shapera performing Adam Lambert’s Whataya Want from Me. Shapera won the battle and moved on to the lives. #TeamWaje's Arewa and Amarachi performed David Guetta and Emeli Sande’s What I Did for Love. Arewa won the battle, and Amarachi got a steal from Timi Dakolo.

#TeamYemiAlade’s J’Dess and Chris Rio battled by performing More Than Words by Westlife, and Chris Rio moved on to the live show, and J’Dess getting a steal from Waje.

#TeamPatoranking paired Voke and Esqlic, who performed Tiwa Savage’s Wanted. Voke won the battle earning himself a spot on the live show.

The final performance of the battles with #TeamTimi came with the twist. The pair Tara and Bella battled with Sandra and Victor, performing Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. Victor represented for the male contestants and lived up to his name, as he emerged victorious in this battle.

The Voice Nigeria moves on to the live shows starting next week. Viewers will be able to vote for their favourite contestants to stay on the show and get to the finals.
