Collo is a 26 year old music composer, author, arranger, creative media consultant and rapper from Kenya. He is also part of the group Kleptomaniax and as part of the hyper-energetic all male rap trio they set out to steal the hearts of their fans. Their interest in music started when they were in high school, where they wrote songs and competed with fellow students in a variety of competitions slowly establishing themselves among their peers. As a solo artist he released his debut album in February 2011 which included the single “No More” featuring Ulopa. The tune tackles the issue of drunk driving amongst the youth and was adapted as part of the Road Safety campaign in Kenya. He went on to release “Chini ya Maji” as well as “Kuwa Mpole”.
