YouTube's Top Ten Most-Watched Music Videos Of 2015

18 December 2015
2015 is quickly coming to an end and YouTube has officially ended the year by announcing which music videos received the most views this year.

“See You Again”, by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth tops the list. The ode to late actor Paul Walker was an immediate hit, topping the Hot 100 for weeks, making it one of the longest-running number one hits of all time.

“See You Again” is the only music video released in 2015 that managed to surpass the one billion view mark in less than a year, though it is clear that exceptionally popular tracks are hitting that milestone much faster than they used to. While it didn’t hit one billion views, Adele’s “Hello” treatment is the last to be released. Since then it has been played over 400 million times, and that number is growing rapidly.
