Yeezy Fuses Fashion & Music With T.L.O.P and Yeezy Season 3

12 February 2016
Kanye West has been creating a lot of hype surrounding his new album, The Life of Pablo, in recent weeks. If photos of his real friends in the studio weren’t enough, he builds the anticipation even more with the official cover art for the project. He used the launch of his Yeezy Season 3 fashion line, to preview his latest offering, The Life Of Pablo (T.L.O.P).

Kanye has also shared an alternate cover for The Life of Pablo, which features a cropped photo of model Sheniz Halil and "which one," a phrase that was included on the final tracklist notepad.

The head-spinning extravaganza that was Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 debut and The Life of Pablo listening session was a rock concert, fashion show and reality series, all rolled into the next Mad Max 3-D IMAX movie.

Along with a fashion show, the rapper debuted music off his new album, The Life of Pablo, scheduled to drop any minute now on iTunes. Below, we rounded up all the highlights from inside the stadium. He kicked off with Ultra Light Beams and told the crowd that it's mostly a gospel album.

Yeezus filled NYC’s Madison Square Garden with 20,000 fans, 1,000 models and almost every Kardashian (still no Rob!) on a frigid February day blast out their eardrums with abrasive lyrics and throbbing bass — and then unveil a video game about his deceased mother Donda’s new life in heaven.

A self-proclaimed musical genius, Yeezus merged fashion and music — the biggest of his passions — seamlessly in a show that reminded us what fashion shows are all about. And perhaps what they should do more of. That's entertainment.
