This Tupac freestyle is still important today

It may be a decade since Tupac Shakur was gunned down but his words, thoughts and belief remains ever so relevant to this very day.

In light of the increase in violence towards women across the globe, one particular Tupac moment stands out. During a trip to the Marcus Garvey School, Tupac shared a heartfelt and thought provoking verse from the single that's widely known as "Keep Your Head Up". In the bars he raps, "And when he tells you you ain't nothin', don't believe him / And if he can't learn to love you, you should leave him / Cause sister, you don't need him," while young inspired learners listen intently in awe.

The moment was a brief one but one that spoke to the importance of society as a whole coming together to stand up for women and protect them. Watch the beautiful Tupac freestyle below:
