The Weeknd is really owning the first few months of 2020.
The 30 year old hitmaker enjoyed the biggest month of his career in April when both his hit, Blinding Lights and his album 'After Hours' both reigned atop the Billboard singles and albums chart respectively. And in Southy, he's doing pretty well himself. Blinding Lights moved up two places to claim the #1 on the Channel Top 30 chart last week, confirming that StarBoy is just as much a big deal in this part of the world.

Dynamic duo Blaq Diamond's latest love-soaked offering has moved up to the second place. They are some of the biggest acts in the country right now. Will they manage to clinch that top position in next week's chart? Roddy Rich's The Box falls down two places from last week's #1. He's already doing for himself, having topped charts worldwide, and scored himself his first viral social media media thanks to Doja Cat's fun clownery.

At #4, Prince Kaybee, Black Motion, Shimza and Ami Faku's #Uwrongo sits. Down from last week's #2, the collaborative collective this week celebrated the song reaching GOLD status in South Africa. They are calling her the new Supreme of Pop, and Dua Lipa made top #5 with 'Don't Start Now'.
Here's this week's top 30 chart, which aired on Sunday at 19:00 on Channel O, DStv channel 320.
