It appears the days of Lil Wayne and Jay Z's feud are well and truly in the past. The rappers, who have been beefing with each other on and off through the years, have been more family than enemies. Wayne revealed to fans during a recent concert in Chicago that Jay Z helped him to settle a hefty pile-up of tax bills that began accumulating in 2002. Wayne told fans that Jay Z, whom he considers a 'real friend', showed up when he needed help the most.

"He helped me when I was really, really, really down. Really, really, really down,” Lil Wayne said.

Weezy continued to reveal that Jay Z wanted his generous intervention to be kept private. “Jay don’t want me to tell nobody. That man helped me with my taxes. He’s a real friend, y’all.”

Lil Wayne and Jay Z's relationship has been strained throughout the years, with the rappers banging out back to back diss tracks during the lows of their former beef. Lil Wayne dropped It's Good back in 2011, and Jay hit back with La Familia two years later.
