JR's Feel Good Live Sessions have become very popular. We've seen a number of amazing artists including Bucie, Moneoa, Shekhinah, Lady Zamar, Kwesta and Sjava performing on that stage.

Speaking to Channel O Digital, the rapper explained that the Feel Good Live Sessions bridge the gap between studio and stage performances. "I call them 'vulnerability sessions', where artists are able to express their true inner feelings without any boundaries."

The rapper believes that it's important to have such platforms because they showcase a different side of the artists to their fans. So far, the response has been great.  "Our Youtube views are also proof that people really love our content," the rapper said.

JR has hopes of taking his Feel Good Live Sessions globally, and possibly on TV to reach a wider audience.

There's no doubt that there have been a lot of positive changes in the South African music industry, and JR can agrees with this. "There's definitely improvement in our music industry and there are more successful young artists than ever before. We're also gaining much more global recognition and the scene is highly competitive."

So, how has someone like JR managed to stay in the music industry for such a long time? Well, according the rapper, it's all about hard work, understanding the music business, collaborating with other artists and always adapting to change.

JR is currently on tour with DJ Sliqe and A-Reece, and promoting his latest album What.A.Life. He also told Channel O Digital that he's going on an 11-country European Tour in October. Oh, and you've heard his new track with Thabsie titled African Queen, right? What a hot song!

We cannot wait to see what more JR has in store for us.
