During his set at the V Festival Jay Z decided to pay to Linkin Park member Chester Bennington. The singer committed suicide in July.
Jay Z performed their Grammy award-winning track "Numb/Encore", a collaboration from their joint EP "Collision Course".
Before the performance, the rapper told the audience: "Can you guys light it up tonight for Chester? Linkin Park, one time, tonight. Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight!"
