Boity thrilled fans when on Friday she unleashed a brand new single - Bakae. The scorcher follows hot on the heels of the multi-hyphanate star's 2018 breakout hit, Wuz Dat. Bakae finds the rapper brandishing her previously unexplored attitude over a hard beat.

Continuing along the sonic texture and style of Wuz Dat, her iTunes chart topping hit, Boity returns with bars that play even more creatively on her rich repeirtore of punchlines and bars. "Swipe, swip, swipe, I don't ever decline. Swipe, swipe, swipe, it won't ever decline', she charges, switching roles and power in the same breath.

On Bakae, Boity delves further in authentic expressions of her fresh sound in her native SeTswana. She doesn't stay that for too long, as she returns to drop more bars in English in verses that follow.

Boity's rap's impressive rap technique first saw the light in 2018, following a build up in which the media personality rolled out polychromatic stills on her social media. One of them would later end up being the artwork to her debut single. The single recieved much praise from fans.

The song's much talked about video has since amassed over 700 000 views on YouTube.
