The Scorpion Kings, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, are ready to transform Loftus Stadium into the epicenter of global Amapiano culture. This historic show solidifies the Scorpion Kings’ place as Over 50,000 fans are expected to attend and join cultural leaders who continue to push boundaries for South African music on the world stage.
The main stage will host an electrifying lineup featuring some of the African continent’s most iconic performers, including Davido, Mafikizolo, Uhuru, Oskido, Ami Faku, Msaki, Mlindo The Vocalist, Njelic, and the powerhouse Makhadzi, who joins the bill as a late addition. They, with others, will join Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa for a night of music that celebrates the past, present, and future of South African sound.
Before the main event, fans will be treated to an exciting pre-show hosted by Nobantu Vilakazi and Leeart, featuring some of the country’s best talents such as DBN Gogo, Dlala Thukzin, 25k, Vinny Da Vinci, Christos, Ba Bethe Ga Shoazen, Venom, Blxckie and Banques - the pre-show will ensure the stadium is shaking ahead of the main show.
In an exciting announcement, the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) has launched a landmark partnership with the Scorpion Kings to create tangible economic opportunities for 150 young South Africans in the creative industry through the National Youth Service. Participants in this initiative will gain hands-on experience in critical roles, including event coordination and front-of-house operations. Beyond this, the program includes an exclusive masterclass walkabout for an additional 10 aspiring creatives, offering direct mentorship from industry leaders on how to execute a large-scale event of this magnitude. This partnership underscores the event’s commitment to empowering South Africa’s youth, bridging talent with opportunity, and building pathways into the creative economy.
Adding heart to the celebration, Betway Cares will spotlight its 100 Lives campaign at the event.
