While Kwesta and Amanda Black had a big night a the 2017 South African Music Awards (SAMAs), Babes Wodumo walked away empty-handed.

The singer, who shot through fame after releasing her hit single "Wololo", was left disappointed after her song was not recognised at the ceremony which took in Sun City on Saturday. She and Mampintsha, who is featured on the song, took to social media to put the SAMAs on blast.

"Everyone saw what happened, it's the same thing that happened at the Metros, it's now happening at the SAMAs... It's obvious that awards are being bought. Awards are being bought... I was even nominated at the BET Awards overseas, and then at home I don't even get one award? There's no such a thing. Don't play with us, continue buying your awards, continue," said Babes in a video.

Mampintsha also had a lot to say about Babes not winning, attacking the South African Music Awards. He said they are jealous of Babes.
