A$AP Rocky Performs For The First Time Since Jail Release

The American rapper makes statement as he steps on stage after much publicised arrest

It appears A$AP Rocky is not wasting too much time wallowing in the blues of his his life. The 30 year old rapper, who was recently released from the jail in Sweden on a charge of an assault has already thrilled his fans with a performance. 

The rapper on Sunday appeared at the inauguration edition of Real 92.3’s Real Street Festival in California, Complex reported. 

There, Rocky showcased a visually theatrical show in which he came out clad in a mask. The fashion icon, who typically makes headlines for what he wears on red carpets, is yet to say anything about the symbolism of the mask for the performance. 

“I’m so happy to he here right now”, he told the crowd at the event, which also featured performances by Cardi B and Big Sean. 

A$AP Rocky recently returned from Sweden, from where his ongoing case of assault has been making global headlines. Real name Rakim Mayers, The Testing hitmaker and members of his entourage were kept in police custody over allegations of assault, for which he’d been facing up to two years.
