2022 Grammys: Who's in and who got snubbed?

The biggest night in the world of music is upon us. On Tuesday, the Recording Academy officially announced the nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards, which will be taking place on Monday, 31 January at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, Carlifornia. Justin Batiste leads with 11 nominations, with Doja Cat, Justin Bieber and H.E.R boasting no less than eight nominations each.

Lil Nas X is right behind them with 5 nominations in the major categories. Olivia Rodrigo's blockbuster entry into the scene has recieved a big nod from the Grammys, seeing her score nominations in the major four categories; namely record of the year, album of the year, song of the year and best new artist.

Another major scoop is Black Coffee's nomination at the 64th annual show. The South African dance music producer bagged the Best Dance/Electronic Album category for his tape 'Subconsciously'. That means South Africa is in the building and we are rallying behind our own.
