Following an urgent late-night entertainment crisis meeting, President Ya Straata Focalistic has officially declared Friday, 29 August 2025, a public holiday for the people of South Ah. The announcement comes as the nation prepares to descend on Loftus Stadium for the historic Scorpion Kings Live with Friends event.

The emergency session was attended by key members of the President’s cabinet with Honourable Minister of Education - Pharoahfi; Honourable Minister of Police - Primo; Honourable Minister of Sports Dedrick; Honourable Minister of Finance - DJ Maphorisa; Honourable Minister of Arts - Kabza De Small; and Honourable Minister of Agriculture - Stephan.

During the briefing, the Minister of Education - Pharoahfi, raised a passionate plea for an extra public holiday, citing the need to lift the spirit of the nation. In response, Minister of Arts Kabza De Small firmly stated that “Only piano can save the country.” Prompting a shift in the room - and for the President to act.

After hearing the cries from both the cabinet and the streets, President Ya Straata made the bold decision, “We’ve heard the cries of the people. On 29 August, there is no work, no school, no gym. The only place to be is Loftus Stadium. This is not just a concert - it’s a movement. Loftus Versfeld. Scorpion Kings Live!”

Scorpion Kings Live with Friends will feature Amapiano’s best led by DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, alongside a legendary lineup of guests which include the likes of Daliwonga, Young Stunna, Ami Faku, Phila Dlozi, Focalistic, Msaki, Mlindo The Vocalist, Kwesta, and more collaborators.
