Ipeleng, Nelisa, and Tsatsii had a little chat in the bathroom today about skincare and the rules that come with it.
The theme of the week in Biggie’s house is centred on housemates treating each other with respect and kindness. In line with this, Biggie introduced a massage session yesterday as part of the punishment for the Tails of House. Today, Biggie went all out as he gave the housemates the items needed for a full-on spa session. In the process, we got to learn a thing or two from some of the housemates about skincare routines.
While in the bathroom, Ipeleng, Tsatsii, and Nelisa gave some tips about having glowing skin. Here’s what we learnt from the trio.
What works for your friend may not work for you
Have you ever caught yourself trying out that acne cream that worked for your friend, yet it does nothing for you? Yeah, we’ve all been there. Everyone’s skin is unique, therefore it's best to visit an expert before applying any product to your skin.
Eat clean food
Knowing what and what not to eat is essential to having healthy skin. Some food products may cause inflammation for some people, and they most likely would be advised by experts to stay away from them. Eating healthy also means having healthy organs which in turn affects your overall glow.
Steam before exfoliating
When approached by Miracle OP about exfoliating, the ladies revealed it was best to steam the face before exfoliating because it opens the pores. In case you were wondering if they're right, the answer is yes. The heat also loosens stubborn buildup, excess sebum, and impurities.
Skin care tips
We are no kind of skin experts here, but we are sure the little tips provided by your faves are definitely worth trying out.
