By now, no one could accuse the Big Brother Titans housemates of lacking flexibility. As we’ve seen, they love to keep their romantic options open, and often dabble in multiple ponds to get boo’d up.
Just check this kiss-fest!
Four weeks into the season and we’ve got ships that involve two, three, and even four members – rotating displays of heated affection.
On the internet, lovers of a stable, monogamous ship have never been busier: arguing, explaining, defending, figuring out, and also throwing up. Some pairs, such as Kanaga Jnr and Tsatsii, as well as Ipeleng and Lukay, have remained among a handful of pairs who kept their operations exclusive.
Not even the Royals opting to use their veto save privilege to rescue Blaqleng from the hooks of possible eviction, instead of Kaniva, was enough of a blow to scatter Kanaga Jnr and Tsatsii’s relationship into tiny ashes.
Similarly, Ipeleng and Lukay displayed rare security in their exclusive relationship. Even after his eviction, Lukay expressed confidence in the relationship and gushed about a romance that will continue flourishing after school.
Not the same can be said for Khoyemi, as fans have dubbed Khosi and Yemi’s on-again, off-again tryst. While the pair hit it off instantly, forming what initially appeared to be the house’s first inseparable power couple merely moments after entering the house, their bond seems to be hanging by a loose thread.
It all started when Blue Aiva entered the house. There’s no telling whether things would have played out differently on that first night, had she been there. She came much later, however, when Biggie threw a twist and introduced four new housemates to shake things up. Amongst the shaken, it now seems, are some of the ships.
Soon, Blue Aiva and Yemi were shooting shots at each other. The initial phases of that ship delivered a lot of drama in the house. Yemi confronted Blue Aiva on the nature of her relationship with Yemi, which seems to have further iced any potential of a buddy ship between the two. Lately, it appears Blue Aiva and Yemi have advanced further than Khoyemi.
By Thursday, 9 February, Khosi was dishing out ultimatums to Yemi. She gave him no more than five hours to make his final decision. While we await the outcome, fans continue to wonder who, between Blue Aiva and Khosi, is the main lover. And, of course, who is the side hustle?
That’s not all. Miracle OP, who also entered the house much later, has not backed down from pursuing Khosi. The two, who are mates in their pair Khosicle, have been going back and forth on the way forward. Miracle OP’s pitch is rather simple: he insists that Yemi is not the right guy for Khosi. But she has kept downplaying how much she’s into Yemi and said it’s really not that deep for her.
One thing’s for sure, Miracle OP is not settling for being a side operation. He wants to be with Khosi and has stopped at very little to pursue that mission.
Elsewhere, Juicy Jay and Yvonne have grown closer with each passing day. Juicy Jay went as far as vowing that, if Yvonne gives him her heart, she would be the only girl in the world for him. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it appears this ship has many sweet moments in order. That hasn’t stopped fans from speculating that Jenni O is into Juicy Jay.
The evidence to support this theory is quite scarce, but moments have been observed. And, as Biggie would say, we are all much safer just expecting the unexpected.
We can’t forget Marvin, who has been moving very closely with Blue Aiva. For some, Blue Aiva’s eyes are steadily set on Yemi, but not even she can deny that Khosi just seems to remain in the picture.
On Wednesday, 8 February, she melted as Yemi gave her a cookie. Unfortunately, Khosi also received one. As such, her growing closeness with Marvin, which has seemed rather intimate many times, could just be a viable, and maybe greener, pasture.
There are other, more subtle, situations in the house. Many conversations have been had about Khosi and Thabang’s growing closeness. Despite Khosi maintaining that their relationship has a more sibling dynamic, Olivia has been filmed rolling her eyes a few times at the pair’s goofy banter in the house.
We are keeping an eye on how things evolve in the coming weeks. One thing’s for sure, however. It’s better for the housemates not to run their mouths and brag about their secret rendezvous!
