In a light-hearted conversation in the garden, the Big Brother Titans housemates had a fun time giving each housemate from a different country a name from their own culture.
The name-giving ceremony started when Tsatsii said Yvonne was such an Mbali while Olivia was a Bontle. Mmeli chimed in saying Blaqboi would probably be a Lufuno, then changed it to Bungani after a few protests from Tstatsii and Ipeleng. Olivia later got a change of name when Thabang called her a Lerato. Yemi Cregx was not left out as he got the name Mlungisi.
The table then flipped to the Naija side when Olivia gave Thabang the Igbo name Onuoha meaning “mouth of the people”. Miracle OP tagged Mmeli with the Yoruba name Deji because, in his words, Mmeli was a player and therefore was befitting of the title of a Yoruba demon.🤣
Yaya was given a name as well. Hers, on the other hand, turned out to be the Arabic name, Aisha. Yemi and Miracle OP explained that Yaya could pass as someone from the northern part of Nigeria, thus the name.
