Season one Reunion came with all the drama we didn’t know we needed, and every episode left the audience wanting some more. With the good news that a new season launches on the 18th of September, we really can’t keep calm. We love everything about love and romance and seeing people intentionally try to get back the one that got away is always an emotional moment to witness and with the drama that comes with getting back an old lover, there’s nothing more real than this reality TV show. Do you agree too?

Before we give you more reasons why you shouldn’t miss the season premiere, here’s a quick season one Reunion recap

A new fixer is in town!

She’s not only your favourite bestfriend on the popular Akwaaba Magic series, Dede, but Sitsofe Tsikor a.k.a. Joyce, is an events MC, voice over artist, model, and entrepreneur. She has starred in a number of movies and Television series, voice overs and modelled for some commercials as well. Sitsofe sees herself as a brand activist whose works must influence social change and we’re excited to see her come in with all these skills as a Sankofa Fixer, helping people get the ones that got away.

ONE WHOLE HOUR!

BIG announcement: Season two running time has increased to an hour from 30mins ❗️ Who else is excited? Meaning more love, more drama, more romance, more everything!

Your favourite Host and Fixers are coming back

Cupid is bringing back his helpers in the bodies and faces of the Host – Michael Katahena and his Fixers – Michelle McKinney Hammond, Leonard Ahia a.k.a. Da Therapizt and Nana Poku Ahis. You see why we’re super excited? They’re promising new and exciting lessons, drama and much more this season!

The love, drama, and everything in-between

What’s love without some drama? With the couples featured in this new season, it’s sure going to be packed with nothing but real life love come back situations.

Side note: The introduction of Sitsofe is to take up the luring aspect of the show and prepare the  “pursued” for the grand gesture or meeting. How exciting!

Set your alarms for the season premiere of Sankofa Season 2 on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 8:00pm on Akwaaba Magic DStv Channel 150.
