With voting for this week’s Most Influential Player of the Week(MIPOW) still looming, the Show Ya Sef housemates split their morning between house chores and low-key campaigning, before the day wound down into a run of emotional diary sessions.
8:00 am: Chores kick off, and Temi Nkem campaigns for MIPOW
The house settled back in after an early workout session and got straight into cleaning mode. Bluethopia told Ricky she'd love to read one of his novels once they're out, while HoH Keivo took on bin duty in the kitchen. Ricky and Temi Nkem had a small back-and-forth over his bed, which she'd already made nicely, but he insisted on redoing it himself. As Sheba swept the lounge and Aikou handed dish duty over to Tram, Tram couldn't resist stirring things up, joking that the diary room and salon needed cleaning too and complaining he was the only one working. Temi Nkem also made her MIPOW push obvious all morning: she waved off help with the water, handed out aprons, and took mopping duty off Keivo's hands specifically so the house would remember her effort.
9:00 am: Immunity talk
Conversation drifted to who's earned the most immunities this season, with Tram praising Temi Nkem for lasting this long without a single save, Keivo marking his third of the week, and Ricky admitting to just one. In the garden, Flora helped Oyin with her hair, and Temi Nkem and Tram's flirty rivalry over MIPOW bubbled up again, with Sheba watching on in disbelief at how easily Temi Nkem seems to fall for Tram's tricks.
10:00 am: Wager prep stirs up old drama
Keivo mopped up in the kitchen, Ricky peeled potatoes while singing to himself, and Tram called the house together to brief everyone on their wager roles. Barry got a playful dig in at Oyin and Flora over their outfits, joking about showing the house how a finalist should dress. But the real heat came later, when a kitchen conversation between Tram, Temi Nkem, Barry, and Sheba chatted about Temi Nkem and Tram’s kiss. Tram teased Temi Nkem about the kiss that once made headlines in the house, and questioned her on why she chose to tell the housemates. Temi Nkem held her ground, saying she's never been ashamed of the kiss and had to clear the air with Keivo.
11:00 am: Quiet time
Things slowed down briefly with Sheba napping in the garden, Barry and Bluethopia enjoying a meal together, and Keivo cooking.
12:00 pm: Temi Nkem and Tram open up in the diary room
Temi Nkem kicked off diary sessions, admitting she's chasing MIPOW hard this week and wishes she'd started campaigning earlier in the season. She's still stung by falling during the HOH challenge, was blindsided by Chimsom's eviction but not Yusuf's, and got emotional talking about hearing from her father. Her proudest moments are her task wins, particularly winning the Friday Night Arena games. Temi Nkem also admitted to still feeling a little lost in the house and asked Biggie if they could pick the conversation back up another day. Tram followed in noticeably better spirits, saying seeing his mum on TV lifted him, and that none of the recent evictions shocked him — if anything, fewer housemates means less competition. For Tram, making it this far in the game and winning HoH are his proudest achievements. He named Aikou as the person who's had the biggest impact on him in the house, revealed the two have talked about writing a book together after the show, and said his only goal for week 9 is to eat, sleep, hug people, and enjoy what's left of the experience.
1:00 pm: Flora reflects on the road to week 9
Keivo gathered the house for a brief; Biggie handed the Housemates a task called Then Vs. Now, where each Housemate has to write their honest impression of every remaining player, and they also have to do one for themselves: reflecting on who they are now, after spending nine weeks in Big Brother's House. The housemates started working on the task, and then Flora was called into the diary room, where she admitted to feeling nervous about how strong this week's lineup is and how she still feels emotional over Chimsom Chuka’s exit. Flora named Oyin as the person who's had the greatest impact on her journey, and said her only goal for week 9 is simple: survive, and make it to the final with her "family."
2:00 pm: Aikou’s diary session
Aikou headed into the diary room next, admitting he's enjoying settling into the Loft and that he's relieved Keivo wasn't the one to go home. He's still visibly affected by Chimsom Chuka's eviction, recalling how confident and self-assured Chimsom Chuka was in the game. Aikou also used the session to set the record straight on a joke that got twisted while Chimsom Chuka was still in the house. He credited Oyin as the one housemate that has had the biggest impact on him in the house, stating that she helped him see the importance of staying true to himself. His goal for week 9 is to give everything to the wager, treating it as his moment to sign off memorably.
3:00 pm: Sheba opens up in the diary room
While she’s thrilled to have made it to another week in the Show Ya Sef house, she misses Chimsom Chuka, as his presence filled up a room and he was someone who always checked on her mentally. She revealed that she was shocked by his eviction, as he was someone she believed would make it to the finale and also the housemate that has had the biggest impact on her in the house.
For Sheba, she is most proud of how she held herself accountable following her issue with Tram, her ability to control her emotions, and her performance at yesterday's HOH games; even though she was hurt, she didn't win. For week 9, she is focused on finding the right words to convey her message and legacy through the wager.
4:00 pm – The Kitchen is a vibe
Oyin was dancing to the music. Barry gets in the Kitchen and started singing along to Biggie's music. He washes dishes and Bluethopia joined him.
Temi Nkem asked Bluethopia what she making – she making fish. Sheba, Bluethopia and Oyin dance to the music together.
Temi Nkem and Barry sang along to the music in the house.
Sheba fixed Bluethopia wig as she washed the fish. Flora cuts potatoes. Temi Nkem described how she makes okra.
Sheba told Bluethopia that she told Biggie she was hurt by not winning HoH and Biggie said to her, yes, it was hard.
Temi Nkem, Barry, Bluethopia, Sheba, and Flora are together in the Kitchen. Flora talked about people not affording things.
5:00 pm – A brief for a task arrives
Sheba, Temi, Bluethopia and Flora are cooking in the Kitchen.
Bluethopia told Barry she can see him because he was holding Oyin’s hand. Oyin doesn't want him to hold her, and Barry started complimenting her saying she is his model.
Temi Nkem, Bluethopia and Sheba start singing as they cook.
Keivo called the housemates to gather in the Main Lounge, and he read the brief of the sponsored task with BetPawa.
The teams are Team Boosted Odds - Keivo, Tram, Aikou, Ricky and Sheba, and Team 50% Cashback - Barry, Bluethopia, Oyin, Temi Nkem and Flora.
6:00 pm – Ready for action
The storeroom is open and Keivo distributed the BetPawa merchandise. The housemates get dressed for the task.
Tram was frying in the Kitchen as he helped Flora.
Aikou and Barry played pool as the housemates watched them and Keivo joined them.
7:00 pm – The games have started
The housemates move to the Arena for their sponsored task with BetPawa.
Tram and Keivo’s team start the game with the first game. The other team followed. Then game two and three followed.
8:00 pm – It’s time for the final game
Bluethopia and Barry’s team start game four. It is a puzzle to complete. Aikou and Sheba completed the puzzle for their team. In the end, the winning team is Team Boosted Odds. They are Aikou, Keivo, Ricky and Sheba and Tram. The housemates move back into the house.
Bluethopia got busy cooking in the Kitchen and Ricky joined her.
Tram, Aikou and Keivo talked about the task and how they did.
Keivo went to check on the betPawa jerseys and asked who has dropped their jerseys.
Tram goes in on Barry about them losing.
9:00 pm – Dinner is ready
The storeroom had opened and Keivo is helped by Tram and Temi Nkem. They take the merch back to the storeroom and collected the Wager props. Sheba is excited about the telephone as her prop.
Tram took the speaker and talked about how he will do his presentation.
Bluethopia started dishing up for the housemates. Sheba and Temi Nkem are happy with the food.
Flora and Oyin have a sibling fight over the food. Flora said she will show her who she is. Flora added that every time she cooks she argues with her, and she told Aikou that Oyin is bulling her. Aikou was just laughing.
10:00 pm – Biggie sends a brief for an ad-hoc task
Tram played with Sheba and they hug. Sheba told Tram that she can't wait for him to be a world-wide fashion icon.
Keivo gathered housemates to the Main Lounge and reads a brief. Big Brother wants to know what these walls might say if they could talk.
How the game will work: The housemates will take turns picking a prompt from the Lucky Dip Box. The housemate who picks the prompt will read it aloud. Once the prompt has been revealed, the entire House must take turns answering it.
Tram started with the game. He spoke about something that annoyed him. According to him, Abi made jokes that were not funny, and there was a moment when he felt like she said something hypocritical after he had made a joke.
Sheba is next; she shared a time where Bells had hid food. Barry is next and talks about how housemates put things in a full dust bin and how dirty the bin is.
Bluethopia is next and said that the walls would complain about Tram. When Temi Nkem had her turn, she said she could complain about her noise.
Aikou said the walls could complain about how they fight and how they resolve fights. Ricky spoke about how food is being wasted and he hates it so much. Flora complained about people just asking questions.
Oyin said if the walls could talk, they would tell them to go home. She spoke about how for the MIPOW people will wash dishes and rely on their alliance to win it. Oyin and Keivo started having a back and forth.
11:00 pm – More questions, more honest answers
Barry opened up about how he came into the Show Ya Sef house and that he wasn’t in a good place when he came. He said that one of his friends had died just before he came into the House, and he didn’t have time to grieve.
He said he appreciated Abi for listening and asking him questions and added that the Big Brother experience was therapeutic for him.
Bluethopia said being in the house has been a lifelong dream for her.
Ricky is next, he mentioned that he auditioned twice for the show. He said coming in the Big Brother House was a part of his plan. He spoke about Abi influencing him in the House in a short time.
